What is "Physie"...

Physie is a modern low impact form of exercise. It involves marching and several exercises which are learnt throughout the year in preparation for competitions. Physie promotes good posture and presentation to ensure good physical health.
Western Zone has ladies as mature as 70. The exercises are structured according to the ability of the age group and modern, popular music is used.
Western Zone operates under a grading system. This allows for beginners to compete against beginners. These start at C Grade and work up to Advanced level.

Our club is run by a team of dedicated and entusiastic teachers, who are all experienced 'physie girls'.

Donna became a part of the Cranebrook Club over 20 years ago when her daughters began physie. She saw the enjoyment it gave them and decided to join herself. She has many years of experience under her belt and will be teaching the Ladies for her 6th year this year.
Charlotte has been doing Physie for a number of years and has always done well. She has placed well at Grand Finals, and has won her age group a number of times, most recently WINNING the Seniors A Grade in 2015 . Charlotte will be teaching 9-12yrs as well as our precious little babies.
Alanah brings over 15 years physie experience to her role and has been crowned "Champion" at Grand Final on a number of occasions, as well as choreographing a number of the zones routines. Alanah will be teaching our young ladies in the Teens & Senior sections.
Shaniah was introduced to physie at a young age and has been very successful since her first competition, including Grand Final placings and "Champions" trophies. Shaniah is very excited to this year begin her teaching career as an individual, taking on our lovely 5-8 Year olds.
